A Pu’er Master, Humbly Enters the Arena.
With 67 years dedicated to tea and over 50 years refining the art of ripe Pu’er, Mr. Zou Bingliang’s legacy is built one leaf at a time. His efforts culminated in well-earned recognition—an honor carried by time and craft.
As a new milestone in China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, Mr. Zou was officially designated as the bearer of the Ripe Pu’er Tea Wet-Piling Fermentation Technique on the 50th anniversary of his involvement in its development. In tribute, Haiwan Tea has specially created the “Heritage” series of commemorative teas.
Among them, “Sugarcane” Ripe Pu’er Cake from the Lao Tong Zhi Heritage Collection exemplifies the signature taste of Haiwan with a uniquely recognizable flavor profile.
This tea is marked by a pronounced sugar aroma, a silky-sweet body, and a refreshing, elegant sugarcane fragrance in the liquor. It offers a smooth, glutinous texture, with long-lasting returning sweetness (hui gan).
