Born towards the mountains and inspired by tea, Jingmai Mountain is home to unique, distinguishable ancient tea forests. The area preserves the well-maintained architecture of ancient villages, creating an ecosystem where tea and forest coexist in harmony with the land and people. This place is rich in traditional customs and folk culture, passed down through generations. Jingmai Mountain is also the world’s first tea-themed UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and the sixth such heritage site in Yunnan.
According to legend, the ancestors of the Dai people, led by the chief Nuola Zhao Nuola, discovered this land of paradise while migrating across vast lands. They were guided by a golden sacred deer, which led them to this enchanting land. Inspired by this story, the 2024 "Spring Return · Jingmai" tea is selected from the core tea gardens of Jingmai Mountain. The tea offers a sweet, direct, and delicate flavor, with a cool and rich aftertaste that evokes the refreshing spring breeze, capturing the essence of the season spread across the entire mountain.
